Trials and Recurring Memberships:
Many sites will offer a 3 day trail (the most common). Be sure and check how many days the trial is, and the price that you will be 're-billed' at. After the trial period your credit card will be automatically rebilled at a certain monthly rate so be sure and find out what that is. Sometimes the monthly rate you are rebilled at will be higher than if you had signed up for a monthly membership in the first place. So if we give a site a positive review and you think you will stay a member for some time it may make sense to go with the monthy membership right away. Sometimes a trial membership will not give you access to the full members area. If we find that we will report in our review of the site.
There are a few sites which will offer free trials. These often rebill you after a specified number of hours so be sure to check that.

Cancelling Your Membership
One of the things people are often afraid of is the hassle of cancelling their membership to a porn site. Most of the porn sites today are pretty responsible when it comes to business practices. That being said they don't WANT you to cancel so going about that may be confusing at first. Be sure and use your real (or one you have access to) email address when signing up. Your billing information will be sent there and you can usually find the appropriate information to cancel there. Most sites have some sort of link in the members area labeled 'billing support' or something similar. This is another way to get to your billing info. If you can't cancel your membership by the above mentioned methods you can go directly to the billing processor. The most common ones are:

What is 'cross-selling'?
Cross selling is the tactic some paysites use to sell you memberships to other sites either through the signup for or through an ad inside the membership area. Be careful when signing up that you don't accidentially sign up for a 'special offer', etc. Read the signup form carefully. Sales to other paysites from within the members area is common. It's pretty much the same as signing up for another site with a tiral and recurring fee so be sure and find out the trial/monthy membership rates.

Can I download the movies or only watch them inside the site?
Some sites will let you download the videos to your computer, letting you play them whever the modd may strike. Often you can download the entire movie or smaller parts. There are some sites however that only let you 'stream' or watch the movie from directly in the members area. I prefer sites that let you download for a couple reasons. I often like to save a couple favorite clips and watch them right from my computer without having to dig through the members area and find the clip. I can also skip ahead or go back to my favorite parts quickly. With streaming videos you have to sit there and wait for your favorite part to come which isnt necessarily bad since most sites have short clips to view but it can still be a pain. If you have a dialup or slow connection streaming may be a pain for you. Although most sites will offer a streaming movie and clips optimized for dialup users it will (by necessity) be lower quality. The advantage of downloadable sites for a dialup connection is that you can download a high quality movie while your sleeping or whatever. Now having said all that a lot of my favorite sites only offer streaming movies. While I prefer downloadable stuff it would'nt stop me from signing up to a site that offered only streaming if it was action I reall wanted to see :)

Why should I buy a membership when ther's tons of free porn everywhere?
This is a question a lot of people ask and theres some good reasons to go for a membership as opposed to downloading 'free stuff'. First, by downloading from p2p sites, networks, etc you are exposing yourself to viruses, spyware, etc. You have no way of knowing what you are downloading is in fact what it says. Buying a membership from a porn site however you wont be exposed to any of this. Porn sites want to keep you happy and coming back so you dont have the worry of messing up your computer or getting something installed you cant get rid of.
