Yappo Review

Yappo is less are traditional porn site and more a pay per view/online DVD type of site. There is no membership fee and there are no monthly fees, you simply pay for the minutes you use watching the online DVDs. If you spend 2 minutes watching a movie, that is all you pay for. If you watch the whole thing, then you pay for the whole DVD. With reasonable prices and a nice selection of movies I can see sites like this one becoming more and more common.

When you first jump into the site it might take you a minute to get your bearings and see where things are. Once you figure it out though it is easy to navigate the site. There are several ways to browse the DVDs that are available to you. You can browse by niche like amateur or MILF or teen or whatever. You can also browse by pornstar. Just pick a star’s name from the menu and you are taken to all of the movies they appear in. You can also browse by studio name, most watched and best reviewed. There are a lot of DVDs to choose from but the browsing features make finding what you want pretty easy.

Once you find the DVD you want to watch you have the option of watching the full movie or just watching specific scenes. Each scene has a thumbnail screenshot showing you what is going on in that scene and you have five different choices when it comes to quality for each scene. The lowest quality movies are labeled dial-up and are really only for people on those slow connections because they are grainy and broken up. The next level up is an improvement but still a little rough. The mid level quality is marked DSL and is pretty nice. They look fine as long as you don’t try to enlarge the screen size, then they break up some. From there they jump up to T1 level. These moves are DVD quality and look really nice. They hold their quality perfectly even at full screen size. The highest level movies are labeled HD and they are amazing to look at. They are crystal clear, have amazing picture quality and look fantastic even at full screen size. Some of the movies look better in HD than others because they are newer and were shot with the proper HD equipment, but even on the older movies this quality level is among the best you find out there.

With over 32,000 movies from over 700 different studios it is safe to say that this site offers action for just about any taste. They have all the traditional niches you would expect from amateur to lesbian, hardcore and ethnic, but they also have a nice selection of fetish movies in different sub-niches. I wouldn’t go so far as to say they focus on fetish movies, but I think they have enough of them here to satisfy anyone with a casual interest in different fetishes. One thing that this site offers that many other DVD style sites don’t is that it features DVDs from other porn sites. If you like Brooke Skye or the website Back Seat Bangers, they have DVDs from those sites. They don’t have every site out there, but there are some cool sites that have DVDs in here so it is almost like getting access to those sites as well as this one. If I have one criticism of the site it is how some of the DVD scenes are laid out. If you are looking for a specific star in a movie and it is a movie that features a lot of different stars, you have only a few thumb previews to figure out which scene they are in. I would have liked to have had each scene listed with who was in it so when I look for a certain girl, I can just watch her scene and not have to hunt for her.
